Poco is most likely set to launch its latest device to its X-series after the Poco X2, the Poco X3 is reported to come out. Official looking renders and leaked images of the phone’s deign have leaked online along with a few specifications and many speculations. A potential launch date is also said to be rumoured since the phone is expected to launch on September 8. Since these photos have surfaced on Mi Turkey platforms, the launch might be set for that region itself.
The overall design of the camera is said to have a punch hole display upfront with minimum bezels. The display would measure around 6.67 inches with a 240Hz Touch Latency. Seeing that the Poco X2 had a 120 Hz LCD panel, Poco X3 might sport a 120 Hz AMOLED panel according to rumours.
On the processor front, some earlier leaks say that it might arrive with a Qualcomm snapdragon 765 chip or there could be Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 processor, paired to 4GB and 8GB of RAM. It is not going to have 5g though according to FCC leaks. Other regular features which are now standard on similar phones are deduced from the FCC certification was the presence of Bluetooth 5.1, wifi 5(ac), dual sim
Tipster Abhishek Yadav earlier this month posted a series of tweets about the upcoming Poco X3 smartphone, leaking a few key details about the device. The image shows a round camera module. The leaks on the FCC certification also suggested that the device will be powered by a massive 5160 mAh battery and a super-fast 33-watts charging speed. This is good news since this is an upgrade over the last generation Poco X3 which had a smilier battery but slower charging time. In the camera department, one can expect a 64-megapixel main quad-camera setup and a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The leak also suggests that the device will run Google’s Android 10 operating system with the company’s recently launched MIUI 12 on top. Since the company has already teased the speculative images of the Poco X3, it is likely to announce the launch date for the device in the coming days.
The features offered by the device along with Poco’s record when it comes to pricing, it can be concluded that this phone is bound to fall in the mid to mid-high category with a price tag ranging anywhere between Rs. 15,000 and Rs.25,000. The wait for the launch is unreal and hopefully every question will be answered when the phone launches. Nonetheless it will be a great addition to the already long lineup of affordable mid range smartphones with high end features.
