The 10K segment has witnessed a slight downturn in fortunes recently. Because of a combination of increased GST and companies trying to increase the Average Price of their smartphones, most of the great phones under 10K have been pushed above to the 12-13K mark. Nevertheless, there are some good options still present in this segment especially if you are willing to opt for a last generation phone. Let’s look at the best smartphones under 10000 –
1. Redmi 9 Prime
The Redmi 9 Prime is such a great phone from Xiaomi that it is the runaway winner in this segment. The phone has a very powerful MediaTek Helio G80 processor, a Full HD+ notched display, and a huge 5000 mAh battery. There aren’t many phones that offer these kinds of features in this segment, let alone all of them. Under the 10K segment, the Redmi 9 Prime is just a no brainer.
2. Realme Narzo 10A
This recently launched phone from Realme has arguably the best chip on a phone under 10k with the MediaTek Helio G70 handily beating other processors. The other specs are okay ish with a triple rear camera setup and a 5000 mAh battery. If you want the absolute best performance in this price segment, the Narzo 10A should be right up your alley. The Narzo 10A is a very good choice for a smartphone under Rs. 10000
3. Realme C11
The Realme C11 is Realme’s new budget warrior. The phone comes with a huge 5000 mAh battery as its headlining feature. There’s a dual-camera setup on the back, a fresh design language, and a respectable MediaTek Helio G35 processor. Realme UI should also ensure that the phone chugs along nicely which makes this a nice option.
4. Vivo U10
The Vivo U10 is a great budget offering from Vivo. Powered by a Snapdragon 665, the phone has a big 5000 mAh battery with an 18W fast charger in the box which is a rarity in this segment. You also get triple rear cameras along with a gradient design.
5. Samsung Galaxy M01
The Galaxy M10S was our original recommendation here. But since Samsung has discontinued it, we are left with the Samsung Galaxy M01. The M01 is an average phone but it is your best option in this price segment if you are looking for a phone from a non-Chinese company. The phone has a very respectable 4000 mAh battery and a 13MP dual-camera setup at the back.
6. Redmi Y3
The Redmi Y3 is a good choice for all the selfie enthusiasts out there. The phone has a 32MP front camera which should result in some crisp selfies. There is a 4000 mAh battery on board while the Snapdragon 632 should result in decent performance with MIUI’s optimizations. The egregious ads in the UI may be a turnoff for many people though.
7. Motorola One Macro
For people who want a clean android experience, the Motorola One Macro is a good option with it being an Android One phone. This ensures that the OS is almost stock android like and there won’t be any ads like some other OSes. The Helio P70 should also result in some decent performance.
